“This latest news shows the sad consequences of the shutdown policies pushed by Gov. Tim Walz and the Democrats,” Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman David Hann said. “Republicans have long said that kids needed to be in school learning. Democrats like Gov. Walz kept kids out of school to placate their political allies like teachers unions and Minnesotans suffered as a result.
