MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Following reports of ballot processing delays in Chisago City, the Republican Party of Minnesota issued the statement below:

“The delays in processing ballots are unacceptable, and we call on Democrat Secretary of State Steve Simon to provide additional support to local elections officials as needed. It is paramount that every legal vote be counted. We remind voters that everyone who is in line before the polls close at 8 PM will be allowed to vote.” – Republican Party of Minnesota Executive Director Mike Lonergan
