MN CONGRESSIONAL DEMOCRATS REFUSE TO CONDEMN VIOLENCE

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – As the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution to condemn recent attacks on pro-life facilities, groups and churches, every Minnesota Democrat in the chamber voted no. The Republican Party of Minnesota issued the statement below in response:

“Violence has no place in our political discourse or society as a whole. While Republicans in Congress voted to take a stand against it, Democrats Angie Craig, Betty McCollum, Ilhan Omar and Dean Phillips refused to do so. Make no mistake – they voted to support radical violence against churches, organizations that support pregnant mothers in need, and more. This is reprehensible and Minnesotans should take note that their Democrat representatives in Congress support the use of violence when it serves their partisan political agenda.” – Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman David Hann
