“Yesterday’s result in the Duluth Mayoral Primary Election was a clear repudiation of the extreme agenda of the Minnesota DFL and Governor Tim Walz. Incumbent Duluth Mayor Emily Larson was endorsed by the Minnesota DFL and Gov. Walz but finished a distant second with less than 35 percent of the vote.”

“While Governor Walz tries to build a national profile by playing politics in Iowa, his hand-picked endorsed candidate for mayor was soundly rejected by the voters in Duluth.”
