As Chairman of the NRCC, there is NO candidate more qualified in this race to represent Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District.

“Congressman Tom Emmer was sworn in for his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives on January 6, 2015. He represents Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District and serves on the House Financial Services Committee. Tom was born in 1961 and raised in the great state of Minnesota. He went on to graduate from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and then William Mitchell College of Law. In 2004, he was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives and re-elected in 2006 and 2008. Tom and his wife Jacquie are the parents to seven beautiful children, and currently reside in Delano, Minnesota.”

Tom Emmer on Health Insurance

“Tom has seen firsthand the devastating effects healthcare costs are having on working families and small businesses, so he’s pushing to bring patient-centered reforms with more competition and more choices for patients without sacrificing protections for individuals with preexisting conditions or children who want to stay on their parent’s health plans.”

Tom Emmer on Transportation

“Tom believes that funding to improve roads, bridges, and highways should be spent on just that – improving roads, bridges, and highways.  That’s why he helped secure over two hundred million dollars for two of Minnesota’s major highways including I-94.  He has also authored legislation to prioritize funding for interchange and intersection safety.”

Tom Emmer on Education

“Tom is fighting for better education funding and more local control of schools. He believes school districts should have extended freedom to provide innovative solutions to their own local problems without having to ask the federal government for permission.  He has supported legislation to expand the use of 529 Education Savings plans to include costs associated with a child’s elementary and secondary education, and pushed for the preservation of the teacher tax deduction to support our educators.”

Tom Emmer on Public Safety and Security

“Tom is fighting for better education funding and more local control of schools. He believes school districts should have extended freedom to provide innovative solutions to their own local problems without having to ask the federal government for permission.  He has supported legislation to expand the use of 529 Education Savings plans to include costs associated with a child’s elementary and secondary education, and pushed for the preservation of the teacher tax deduction to support our educators.”

Tom is committed to Fiscal Responsibility

“Tom is, and always has been, dedicated to reducing Washington’s runaway spending. Americans know how to spend their money better than Washington bureaucrats, and Tom has taken action to decrease our growing debt and ensure that taxpayer dollars are spent as responsibly as possible.  He will continue looking for ways to cut waste, find more reforms, and advocate for sticking to the “regular order” process of appropriations rather than resort to bloated omnibus bills.”

Tom is committed to Suicide Prevention

“Suicide is a heartbreaking tragedy.  Tom will continue to prioritize and support efforts to make mental health treatment available for all Minnesotans. This Congress he authored the STRESS Act specifically for our farmers, ranchers and agricultural workers who suffer from higher rates of depression and suicide than the normal population.”

Tom Emmer is an advocate of Free Trade

“Tom believes Minnesota’s economy relies on trade, commerce and the ability of businesses to move their products with full and fair access to ALL markets.”

“In a break with the Administration, Tom introduced legislation to lift the Cuba trade embargo in order to provide new opportunities for increasing trade, as well as advancing the cause of human rights and needed reforms in that country. The legislation improves the United States’ position in the region and increases our leverage as the political transformation begins in Cuba.”

Tom Emmer is a Champion for the Second Amendment

“The Second Amendment is an essential civil right and a significant part of our heritage in Minnesota. Our founders understood that an individual’s right to keep and bear arms is a crucial individual liberty, and protection against a tyrannical government. Citizens must remain vigilant in order to protect their rights, and the ability to lawfully exercise these rights should remain free from government intrusion.”

“This is why I introduced the Firearm Due Process Protection Act, which would ensure due process is protected when the federal government falsely denies an individual the right to purchase a firearm.”

According to Jeanne Hendricks herself, her primary goal if elected it to “Stop Donald Trump,” by continuing to investigate 1/6.

Jeanne Hendricks’ priorities should be the people of Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District. Not investigating an incident that happened under a former President 2 years ago.

Jeanne Hendricks is not a serious candidate in the race to represent Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District.

The only plan Jeanne Hendricks has, is no plan at all.

Jeanne Hendricks on Women’s Rights

Jeanne Hendricks believes that women should be able to kill their unborn child in the womb for the sake of “reproductive freedom.” She thinks that a child in the womb is just a part of a woman’s body, not a separate individual.

Moreover, she claims that she will fight for women’s rights if she gets to Washington, even though her party is now incapable of or unwilling to define what a woman is.

Jeanne Hendricks doesn’t have a plan for Health Care

While Tom Emmer has been fighting to lower healthcare costs and making meaningful changes, Jeanne Hendricks has no plan for healthcare other than letting other people make the decision for her.

If she wants to serve in Congress she needs a plan, not just a dream.

Jeanne Hendricks on the Economy

Unless her plan is to fail Minnesotan’s, Jeanne Hendricks has no plan for the economy at all.

Her party has destroyed the job market, increased inflation at record levels, caused skyrocketing gas prices by shutting down American energy and raised the national debt to over $30 trillion.
