As a retired Police Officer, Pete Stauber knows a thing or two about Public Safety. As a lifelong resident of Minnesota, he is a well-vetted member of the community.

“Growing up in Duluth as one of six brothers playing hockey at the neighborhood rink, Pete Stauber knows how to fight back. A former professional hockey player and retired police officer of 23 years, Pete is fighting in Congress for our way of life now (campaign website).”

“After graduating from Duluth Denfeld High School and receiving a Division I hockey scholarship, Pete led Lake Superior State University to a national championship in 1988. Pete was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings and played in one of the most historic franchises in the National Hockey League. After retiring from professional hockey, Pete returned to Minnesota to start a family business and served more than two decades in law enforcement (campaign website).”

“During the years of his service, Pete served both as the President of the Law Enforcement Labor Services Union, Local 363 and as an Area Commander with the Duluth Police Department. After 22 years of service with the department, Pete retired in August 2017 (campaign website).”

“Pete and his wife Jodi know what service and sacrifice to your country means. Pete’s wife, Jodi, is a decorated Iraq War Veteran with more than 20 years of service. Jodi was also previously involved with the Minnesota Air National Guard Yellow Ribbon Program, helping military members reintegrate into civilian life (campaign website).”

“Pete and Jodi currently reside in Hermantown where they are raising five children – Levi, Luke, Isaac, Addilyn, and Theo (campaign website).”

Pete Stauber is Pro-Public Safety

Pete Stauber introduced the JUSTICE Act in 2020 and reintroduced it in 2021 after the Democrat-led house blocked the legislation three times. “This legislation will fund better training for police officers, increase the number of body cameras, and provide important grants to police departments to help implement community policing best practices.” (https://stauber.house.gov/media/press-releases/stauber-reintroduces-commonsense-police-reform-legislation).

These are all common-sense reforms that make policing better and address some of the issues that arise in law enforcement without demonizing police and emboldening criminals.

Pete Stauber is Pro-Responsible Mining

“Northern Minnesota is home to the world’s largest known undeveloped copper-nickel deposit. In January 2021, Rep. Stauber introduced the Saving America’s Mines Act to prevent the executive branch from eliminating mining jobs and economic activity in rural communities.”

Press Release

The Biden administration has since tried to pause mining in northern Minnesota which would hurt the economy and put families out of work in a terrible economy brought about by the Democrat’s reckless spending. Pete Stauber will continue to fight to protect the livelihoods of his constituents in CD8.

Pete Stauber Pro-American Energy

Pete Stauber has been a strong supporter of the Keystone excel pipeline that would have transported affordable gas from Canada to the United States.

“The Keystone XL pipeline would support over 10,000 union construction jobs in the U.S. and wages are expected to exceed $2.2 billion…The project would provide $10 million in renewable energy job training for union workers and invest a total of $1.7 billion in renewable energy infrastructure.”

Unfortunately, the Democrats scrapped the project. Pete Stauber will not stop fighting for cheaper and cleaner energy for Minnesotans whether here in Minnesota or across state lines.

Pete Stauber on Education

Pete Stauber believes that the classroom is a place to learn skills for the future and not a place to be indoctrinated by left-wing teachers in things that cause division.

“Make no mistake, Critical Race Theory has no place in our education system. We have all been created equally in the eyes of God, and teaching our children there is a racial hierarchy is despicable. This will not solve our division, it will further it.” Stauber said in a tweet in June, 2021.

Pete Stauber will always fight for parental rights in the classroom and for giving parents and school districts and not the Federal government control of our schools. Children should learn shared values, not that they are oppressed by or oppressors of their fellow classmates.

Pete Stauber is Pro-Life

“Congressman Stauber has stood up against the pro-abortion agenda of the Biden-Harris administration and Pelosi Democrats who are actively working to expand abortion access and abortion funding. Rep. Stauber has voted consistently to defend the lives of the unborn and infants. This includes stopping hard-earned tax dollars from paying for abortion, whether domestically or internationally, and protecting health care provider rights for those who refuse to engage in brutal abortions.”

Jennifer Schultz has a long history of donating to Democrats.

Including Governor Tim Walz and other pro – Joe Biden candidates.

Jen Schultz Supports a Radical Agenda on Abortion and Sex

“The Supreme Court is on the verge of eliminating the fundamental right of every person who can become pregnant to make their own health decisions. We must mobilize, organize, and elect representatives who will fight for our right to choose and codify these long-held protections into law.”

Jen Schultz refers to abortion as “Reproductive Freedom

Jen Schultz says that abortion is a fundamental right of “every person who can become pregnant.

Jen Schultz advocates for the idea that a woman is whatever you want it to be, all while refusing to actually say the word woman.

Jen Schultz says that Republicans of CD8 are extremists.

Stating on her website that, “extremists have taken control of the Republican Party and the Supreme Court.

Jen Schultz hypocrisy on the Economy and America First

Jen Schultz says that the Eighth Congressional District has too few high-paying jobs because they were moved overseas, but is against the America First agenda.

She also says that inflation is due to the pandemic, Russia, and price gouging.

The Truth…

Inflation is a result of the Biden administration spending trillions of dollars while Democrat states stifled the American economy through lockdowns.

Jen is just another Democrat that will say one thing to get votes in Minnesota only to sell them out to Progressives in Washington D.C.

This is an independent expenditure prepared and paid for by the Republican Party of Minnesota. www.mngop.org.  It is not coordinated with or approved by any candidate nor is any candidate responsible for it.
